Spanish Loteria

This week in Spanish we are doing loteria. If you don't know what loteria is, it is a fun Spanish version of bingo where you have a board and you try and get four in a row then you win. Bingo usually has numbers and you need to get 5 in a row. A couple days ago we wrote stuff that we do a lot on a piece of paper. We had to write it in Spanish. Our Spanish teacher, Senora Meagan, translated some to Spanish, then we put them on a loteria board and printed them. When everyone was done we start playing. We have only played once but we hope to play it more in the future. It is really fun. By Grover and Hudson

Comic Catastrophe

In 4-5, we are doing a study with comics, we are learning how to draw them and reading graphic novels, for our lit class. This is probably the most interesting thing we have done in lit, in our opinion. We have learned about different styles of comics like gag cartoons, comic strips, and many more. Some parts of comics are the gutter, the little bit in between the panels, which are the squares with drawing. There are also different types of speech bubbles and how you can make different emotions with different expressions and color. Soon we will have a portfolio of three comics that will have a PSA, a memoir cartoon, and a wild card which we get to choose what we make.  Thanks for reading this weeks blog in Tales Of A 4-5 Something We appreciate the support from all of you guys!! Keep slaying besties and if you come back to this post you will see our comics.  By Anna and Teagan --- In 4-5, authors have been writing and illustrating comics!
