The Wrong House
By Sasha Eliza and

It was Halloween night and the mist was almost too thick to see through. The jack-o-lanterns were glowing on each doorstep. Timmy Thompson was one of the last trick or treaters out in his neighborhood. He had a pillowcase ½ full of candy and he aimed to get more. You see, Timmy Thompson was a very determined child, and if set his mind to something he would do it! And at that moment he had set his mind to getting more candy.
As he walked down the street he spotted the old abandoned mansion, it was said to be haunted but he didn’t believe in ghosts. As he walked closer to the house he noticed an old sign that said, "enter if you dare." Timmy assumed that this was some kind of trick set up by his friends and that there would be candy at the end of the hall. So he slowly tugged open the rickety old doors, not bothering to ring the doorbell, and what a mistake that was. When he tiptoed down the hallway he noticed that some parts of the red velvet carpet were a darker red than others. That's strange he thought but he kept on going anyway. At the end of the hall was the old rotting old kitchen.
