A few Wednesdays ago 4-5 did a little cooking cooking. We gathered some things from our school garden and all of the classes cooked something different. Tim's and Linda’s class made tabbouleh and Kai’s and Nancy’s class cooked roasted potatoes.
In our class we split up into four groups and got assigned to two ingredients. We worked on lemons and mint, another group worked on tomatoes, another group worked on cilantro, parsley, and basil, and another group worked on two different types of onions.
Tim’s class and Nancy’s classed swapped food at the end and we got to try some of both. The food was very good and we all had a great time.
